Coaching
Would professional support during your writing journey benefit you? You may want to consider working with a writing coach. Coaching not only helps you accomplish your goals faster and with a greater rate of success, it also saves you effort, time and money once your project is ready for the next step.

The Service
My coaching service is designed to meet your specific needs, whether you’re at the planning stage, the precious first draft or even a few drafts in. Sessions can look like whatever you want them to. Call it therapy for writers.
Here are just a few of the ways I can help:
Need help meeting timelines and staying organized? I’ll be your accountability buddy, checking in to discuss your progress and ensuring you’re meeting your targets.
Want to establish a sustainable, long-term writing practice? We’ll discuss the best habits and approach to get you into your own unique groove.
Have lots of big ideas but you’re not sure where to start? You’ll get the benefit of having a developmental editor along for the ride as you plan your project.
Looking to strengthen your authorial voice? Once you have the “what,” we’ll talk about the “how” part of writing, covering the techniques you’d like to learn about style.
Not sure where to go once you’re finished? I’ll provide an overview of publication methods and recommend the next steps for your project.
Coaching sessions can be up to an hour long. You’ll also be able to submit up to 5 pages of material for review prior to a session. I may even have relevant resources to share!

Please note that discovery calls and in-person meetings are not available for single coaching sessions. Make sure to provide a summary of your project and the kind of support you’re looking for in your form or email to make the most of your session!

Submit an intake form or send me an email to let me know that you’re interested in booking a package. Then, schedule a discovery call in my appointment calendar. This will give us some time to get to know each other and discuss your writing goals before our first official coaching session.
In-person discovery calls and sessions are available for package bookings.

If you booked a single session, but you’d like to keep working with me, I’m flattered! I’m happy to apply the cost of your initial session against the deposit for your new package.

With each session booked, you get the option to submit up to five 5 pages of material for review. This could be an excerpt from a current draft or even a summary, a project outline or character notes, just to name a few examples.
I ask for all materials to be submitted at least 2 business days before a session to allow for preparation time. I’ll provide you with an overview of my feedback during our session, then send back my finalized notes 2 business days after that.

Single sessions can be up to an hour long and may be scheduled through my appointment calendar. If submitting materials, please ensure you’ve scheduled our session with enough time for me to review them (see above).
The same applies for package bookings, though I do also ask for a space of at least two weeks between these sessions. We can also set up a recurring time slot or book the next session at the end of the current one.Item description
