Book Coaching
If professional support would benefit you during your writing process, you might just be looking for a book coach. Writers who work with coaches tend to accomplish their goals faster and with a greater rate of success than those who go it alone. I offer individual book coaching for any stage in your work.

Example Project
Scope
Jessica is writing a memoir about her travels through the Alps. She’s already written some short pieces for magazines and a publisher has reached out to tell her that they are interested in a longer work. Since she’s never written anything as long as a novel, she’s concerned about overall plot cohesion as well as being able to deliver the work on time. She decides to contact Elixir Editorial for book coaching so she can get feedback on her writing and guidance on the overall project.
Estimate
Jessica plans to write her novel over a 6-month period and asks to meet every two weeks during that time to keep up with her deadlines. As part of the coaching service, she’s able to submit up to five pages ahead of each hour-long session for review.
The estimated cost for Jessica’s bi-monthly book coaching sessions over 6 months is $1620 plus taxes.
Excerpt
The excerpt below shows how Jessica’s project moves through the submission, feedback and revision stages.
Feedback is presented in queries (numbered comments on the right-hand side) addressing Jessica’s concerns about the cohesion and structure of her work. Jessica can ask detailed follow-up questions about the suggestions during her one-hour coaching sessions and then make changes to her draft as she sees fit.
